Program Information
My programs share live creative process as I paint a portrait of an audience member as part of my presentation. I use digital tools (iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and one or more art apps) combined with traditional methods of drawing and painting from direct observation (no photography is involved). The audience sees the portrait develop from start to finish, and even a finale video stroke-by-stroke replay. This is true art meets tech!
My own personal story of going from an Oxford-educated Physicist and scientific instruments sales and marketing manager, to becoming a full-time artist and digital paint pioneer, is illustrative of the power of transformation in life as well as art, plus the connection between science, business and art. I bring all these elements together in my talks.
As I paint I explain the parallels and lessons that can be drawn from the creative process of drawing and painting to other aspects of life and business. As needed, I can include live swing and break dancing in the mix to illustrate the creative interconnectedness of tech, art, music and dance, plus lead the audience through creative art exercises for unleashing their inner artist. My programs are packed full of liveliness, enthusiasm and fun! Each program is custom designed to suit the client needs and achieve their goal/s for the presentation.

The client may choose in advance which audience member will be painted during the presentation (perhaps for special recognition), or may opt for me to select a volunteer.
Pricing
The speaking fee starts from $2,500, plus travel expenses, and varies according to the size and type of event, audience numbers, duration and location. The final artwork is included in the fee (a print on canvas of the digital painting will be sent to the client after the event).
