30" x 40" mixed media collage on canvas
Here are three detailed close-ups of the collage:

Art collector, ad man, hotelier, magician, socialite, recorded concert saw player... Robert C. Pritikin has done it all! Known as Bob to his friends, Bob is a true San Francisco character. He lives in Chenery House, the city's largest private estate and future Official Mayoral Residence. He has a impressive art collection, valued at over forty million dollars, that includes a full size replica of Rembrandt's Night Watchman. My San Francisco Legendary Mayors series are featured in the Mayoral Suite. In preparation for this collage portrait Bob sat for a number of live sittings and I did extensive research in Bob's photographic and video archive. Imagery used includes his family, his book and his favorite advertisment (“Don't muddy up the googol”, created for the Sierra Club). I wanted to capture the breadth of Bob's exciting and accomplished life, the eclectic nature of his personality which is reflected in all that he surrounds himself with, and the joy and love that he radiates.
Shown below is an earlier portrait of Bob.
