In this talk I will demonstrate how state-of-the-art digital media (Macintosh MacBook Pro computer, Corel Painter X software and a Wacom Intuos3 A5 tablet) can be used by the 21st Century Fine Artist to transform digital photographs into fine art paintings. This art-in-action improvised demonstration will provide a framework for discussing the challenges and opportunities presented by the use of digital media for painting. This talk is free and open to the public. There is limited space so please email or call the Oxford Internet Institute prior to the talk to reserve your place.
